Hyde Lane – Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2019

SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSE TO MAKE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Hyde Lane (D132), Frensham that extends from its junction with the access road to “Quail House Farm” to its junction with Sailors Lane (D132). The Order is required to enable BT Openreach to carry out cabling works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9am and 4pm, within 5 days of the 3 month period of operation of the Temporary Order which commences on 24 June 2019. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians; dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times under direction of a banksman. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. The vehicular diversion will be via Sailors Lane, Pitch Place, Thursley Road, Tilford Road and Hyde Lane.Hyde Lane – TM Plan (Amended 1)
